Sing Ping Theater
The predecessor of "Shengping Theater" originated in 1916. It was a wooden stage next to the old market. It was used for singing operas and could accommodate about three to four hundred people. In 1927, the stage collapsed due to age. Then the operator built a theater on the same site in 1934, covering an area of about 200 square meters. It was the largest theater in Taiwan during the Japanese occupation. Later, it closed in 1986 due to the serious population outflow from Jiufen. The special architecture has allowed many movies to be set in Shengping Theater, including "Duosang", "City of Sadness", or "Blue Mountain Coffee", etc., creating classic scenes. Not only is it the oldest theater in northern Taiwan, it is also one of the must-see attractions for tourists visiting Jiufen. Shengping Theater was a wooden building when it was first built. It was renovated into a hollow wall in the 1960s, and the surrounding houses were built during the Japanese colonial period. It is a place often used by artists to take pictures. Later, the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Tourism Bureau of the New Taipei City Government renovated this historical building and restored its function as a cinema. Now the internal statement asks the Wu Cangfu family to donate the old projector, and also asks the Jiufen Native Museum to donate the old projector. The scene decoration created by Mr. Wang from the 1950s and 1960s makes people feel like they are in an old theater. Currently, the Shengping Theater is operated and managed by the New Taipei City Gold Museum.

Ruins of the Thirteenth Floor of Shuinan Cave
The old Taijin Mining Plant located near Shuinandong and Yinyanghai is also known as the Thirteenth Floor Site. It used to be the largest refining plant in Shuinandong, Jinguashi, and Jiufen. The refinery used for refining gold, silver and copper ore looks like a beautiful abandoned palace from a distance, and the 2-kilometer-long waste flue that stretches over the top of the mountain disappears and appears under the mountains, adding a sense of mystery. If you want to see the unique and desolate beauty of the Thirteenth Floor Ruins, the most impressive views are from the parking lot of Shuinan Cave looking up and from the side looking at the viewing pavilion of Changren Community.

Because the nearby Jinguashi Mountain is rich in pyrite, copper and iron ions are formed after weathering, and are melted into the water to form iron hydroxide, which absorbs sediment and turns into a yellow-brown suspended matter. This is the unique beauty of the yellow and blue gradient of the Yin and Yang Sea. . The color of the seawater in the bay is yellow-brown due to natural minerals, which is in sharp contrast with the blue seawater in the outer sea direction. It can be called a natural color palette!
